4 March 2014

On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd March, hand-picked MV Agusta dealers across Europe will be presenting the new Brutale 800 Dragster and organising on-road test rides.

Dragster, the very symbol of the uncompromising naked bike and a full-on celebration of breathtaking style, is the most extreme, essential Brutale ever. It's motorcycling as it was meant to be: pure riding pleasure, emotion and freedom.

Compared to previous 3-cylinder 125 HP configurations, the specific Brutale 800 Dragster setup focuses on rapid and lively responsiveness, ensuring 'extreme' is engineered into every single second. This technologically sophisticated package includes an extractable 6-speed gearbox, with ratios designed to guarantee awesome acceleration and a truly competitive top speed, should the bike be unleashed on the track.
The new MVICS (Motor&Vehicle Integrated Control System) injection-ignition system allows the rider to configure the torque setting with 4 different mappings, three of which are set directly by the manufacturer and named according to the respective riding conditions (Sport, Normal and Rain); the fourth leaves the rider free to customize, within established limits, individual parameters such as engine response, rev limiter, engine torque response, throttle sensitivity and engine braking. Needless to say, 8-level traction control (which can be disengaged) is also included.
Another eye-catching feature perfectly in keeping with the Brutale 800 Dragster design ethos is the attention-grabbing Pirelli Diablo Rosso II rear tyre, with a cross section of up to a 200 mm and a 50 profile.

The new Brutale 800 Dragster comes in two different colours: white or matt metallic grey, and is available from dealers, in an ABS braking version only, at a price of €13,490 (Every country could have a price variation due to local import duties and taxes).

The two days of 22nd and 23rd March also offer a perfect opportunity to discover, admire and test-ride the entire 2014 range from the legendary Varese-based bike manufacturer. For further information and reservations https://www.mvagusta.it/en/demo-bike/ or dealerships taking part in the initiative.
